Our mission is to create additional value for our customers by delivering high-quality steel fabrication products at the lowest possible cost, and to do so ahead of schedule. We achieve this by creating efficient processes backed by a culture of strong work ethic built on individual pride and responsibility.
HISTORY
Kennedy Fabricating, Inc. established its roots as Ken-Tek Welding in 1984, which began as a small welding shop serving residential and small business customers in the greater Houston area. The name and the focus were changed in 1991, and the company began serving larger customers in multiple industries, helping them to meet their steel fabrication needs. It experienced a period of steady growth throughout the last decade and now serves customers throughout much of the United States. Kennedy Fab has become known as a reliable source for quality structural steel products.

Odie Kennedy
Founder
After spending 10 years with Brown & Root, Odie cofounded Ken-Tek Welding in 1984, which began as a small welding shop serving residential and small business customers. In 1991, Ken-Tek became Kennedy Fabricating, Inc., and Odie has served as the company's president since its inception. Odie is also a charter member of the East Montgomery County Rotary Club and is actively involved in his local community through the Rotary. |

Kevin Kennedy
President
Kevin graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Finance. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche in their Assurance Services Division and then transitioned to KBR to gain construction-industry experience. While at KBR, Kevin served in their Corporate Office in Houston, TX and spent 2 yrs as a Transaction Center Manager in Dubai before returning to the States to take a leadership role in Kennedy Fab. |

Joe Hnatek
Vice President of Operations
Joe brings over 28 years of construction/fabrication industry experience to our company. He began his career with Brown & Root before co-founding Ken-Tek Welding in 1984. After spending 4 yrs with Ken-Tek, he worked for TIC in instrumentation and process controls. Joe rejoined Kennedy Fabricating in 1998 as head of Operations and continues in that position today. |

Jeremy Want
Chief Executive Officer
Jeremy graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Accounting. Additionally, Jeremy received his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Houston. Jeremy has worked in public accounting in a variety of roles, including managing projects for clients servicing the oil and gas industry. Jeremy then transitioned to an oil and gas services company to gain management experience before joining Kennedy Fabricating. |

Kenneth Kennedy
Quality Assurance Manager
Kenneth received his Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M in 2006. Kenneth grew up working in Kennedy Fabricating, Inc. before seeking higher education. He joined Kennedy Fabricating on a permanent basis shortly after college and is currently serving as head of Quality Assurance. |
